Terms of Service

By creating or using an account, you agree to these terms. If you accept them on behalf of a School, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. If a signed order form or services agreement with the School conflicts with these terms, that document wins.

• Schools create and manage accounts for their staff, parents and students. Individuals cannot sign up on their own.
• Keep your password confidential and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity under it.
• Tell your School administrator, or us, straight away if you suspect someone else has used your account.
• We may require password resets, lock accounts after repeated failed sign-ins, or end sessions to protect the platform.

• Enter only data you are entitled to process, and keep it accurate.
• Obtain any consent that parents, guardians or staff must give, and give them the notices the law requires.
• Give each user only the access their role needs, and remove access when someone leaves.
• Handle parents' and students' requests about their records, using the tools we provide.

You must not use BastaKaapi to:

• Get into another School's data or account, or try to get around role or tenant restrictions.
• Probe, scan or load-test the service, or look for security weaknesses, without our written permission. Please report any you find to us.
• Upload malware, or content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing or sexually explicit, or that exploits children in any way.
• Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages through the messaging features.
• Scrape, resell or copy the service, or use student data for advertising, profiling or any purpose unrelated to school.
• Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your role or your School.

We may remove content, or restrict accounts, that break these rules.

The School owns its data, and we use it only to provide and secure the service, as our Privacy Policy describes. We own the software, design and brand. The School's subscription gives it a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its own educational administration.

The plan, price and billing cycle (monthly or annual) are set out in the School's order or in the app. Trials last for the period shown when the trial starts. Fees are payable in advance and exclude applicable taxes. If fees are unpaid 15 days after the due date, we may suspend access after giving notice. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

We aim to keep the service available at all times, and to schedule maintenance outside school hours where we can. Planned downtime is announced in advance whenever possible. Support is available through in-app tickets, email and WhatsApp during Pakistan business hours.

AI tools produce suggestions that can be wrong. Staff should review AI-generated content before relying on it, especially for grades, fee actions, discipline or communication with parents. Do not enter more personal data into AI prompts than the task needs.

A School can cancel at the end of any billing period. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, non-payment, or where the law requires it; where appropriate we will give notice first. After termination the School has 60 days to export its data, after which it is deleted as our Privacy Policy describes.

The service is provided "as is", with reasonable skill and care. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees the School paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts at Lahore have jurisdiction. We may update the terms, and will give Schools notice in the app at least 30 days before a material change takes effect.
